Was sitting in a park in the morning. Sometimes we miss so much in life, because we're running all the time. It was sunny...it was cozy and it was green all around. A cat sat right next to my bench. So random...so serene. I petted her, she did scratch me a little. Not very trusting. Smart cat.
But I guess that's how you build trust. I reached out and tried petting again. She hesitated and then softened under my touch. It was strange. Such a small moment...such a big lesson. That's the extra mile we need to take to get something. That's the extra mile most of us don't have the courage to take.
